Dr. Todd Canatella DDS
Dr. Canatella has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years.
A lifelong resident of the New Orleans area, he graduated from Holy Cross School, earned his undergraduate degree at LSU and then earned his dental degree from the LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Canatella is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Orleans Dental Association, and the Louisiana Dental Association.
Jordan: Team Leader
Jordan is our Team Leader at both the Lakeview and Metairie locations. She is always looking for new ideas to keep our practice current and thriving. Her love for dentistry started over 12 years ago when she began as a dental assistant. Jordan has previously studied at LSU School of Dentistry, is OSHA certified, EDDA certified, and she has completed numerous hours in continuing education on a range of topics, including CEREC, Full Mouth Rehabilitation, Cosmetic Dentistry, Botox Therapy and more.
Stacy: Clinical Manager
Stacy has more than 16 years of experience in dentistry. As our clinical leader, she works hard to make sure your time in the dental chair is not only pleasant but meets your highest expectations. When assisting, Stacy works side-by-side with our doctors to help patients overcome their fear of dentistry and achieve a healthier smile. She is certified in CEREC, 3D imaging, OSHA, EDDA and much more.
When she’s not helping patients, she enjoys crafts, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Lakeview Team
Dana: Patient Care – Lakeview
Dana’s 20 years of dental experience brings a wealth of knowledge to our office. She will meet one on one with you to discuss your treatment plan and talk about financial options. Dana will work hard to make sure we utilize all of your dental insurance benefits so your out of pocket cost is minimum. Dana studied at LSU and she is OSHA and EDDA Certified.
While at home she enjoys cooking for her family and exploring the outdoors with her children.
Amanda: Dental Hygienist – Lakeview
Amanda is a dental hygienist with more than ten years of experience. She’s dedicated to helping patients feel better about their smiles while also building strong relationships with them. She previously studied at the University of New Orleans and LSU School of Dentistry. She loves to learn every year with continued education courses.
Outside of the office, Amanda enjoys trying new workouts, trying new restaurants in the city, and traveling.
Ashley: Front Desk/Hygiene Assistant – Lakeview
Ashley was born and raised in New Orleans. She started her dental career 10 years ago as a dental assistant and front desk administrator. As you get to know Ashley you will quickly realize making people smile is what brings her joy and what better way to express that than by helping her patients achieve their best smile yet! In her spare time she enjoys traveling with her husband and her two adorable sons.

Holland: Hygienist – Lakeview
Holland graduated from LSU with a bachelors in Kinesiology before earning her second bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene at University of Louisiana Monroe. She was the president of her Dental Hygiene class and received the Colgate “Student Total Achievement Recognition Award.” Her love for Dental Hygiene began here at Canatella Dental, when she started as a dental assistant and was inspired to further her education to become a Dental Hygienist.
Outside of the office, Holland enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and playing golf.
Metairie Team
Anh Dao: Patient Care – Metairie
Anh Dao makes the front desk sparkle with her fun-loving personality. When you meet her, you’re sure to feel welcome and at ease in her presence. Anh Dao has six years of experience in administrative dentistry; she will verify your dental insurance and do her best to accommodate your schedule for dental treatment and hygiene appointments. Outside of the office, she has a passion for fitness, enjoys a good meal, loves spending time with her family, and enjoys traveling.
Maria: Front Desk – Metairie
Maria is a welcoming face to all new and returning patients as the walk into the office. She has over 26 years of experience in the dental industry. Maria loves getting to know our patients and will make you feel at home. She can help you schedule your appointments or with any insurance needs.
Outside the office, Maria loves to dote on her beagle and grand-daughter.
Stephanie: Administrative Assistant
Stephanie has not only been with our office for 16 years, she’s married to Dr. Canatella. As our administrative assistant, she enjoys talking with our patients and helping them with their special dental needs. She previously studied at Louisiana State University.
Outside of the office, she is a licensed occupational therapist and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and going to her children’s activities.
Kaitlin: Hygienist – Metairie
Kaitlin is a native New Orleanian who graduated from Mount Carmel Academy and Louisiana State University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She continued her education at the Louisiana School of Dentistry earning her second Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys teaching her patients about the importance of oral hygiene and how it affects their overall health, as well as making them happier and healthier.
When Kaitlin is not in the office, she likes teaching dance to middle school and high school students, cooking new recipes in the kitchen, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying the outdoors with her husband and dog.
